From great revolutionary, he became a great philosopher, writing The
Green Book, a greenprint for the first new type of state in Africa and the world – the
People affectionately call him Brother Leader, Father of Africa,
Leader of the Revolution. His title is one of respect, as he gave up
his position of leadership to turn the function over to the people.
Brother Leader Gaddafi inherited the poorest country in the world and
turned it into one of the richest in Africa. Via the creation of the Libyan Jamahiriya in 1977, thanks to Gaddafi, all Libyans were provided with a
high rate of literacy and a free education, including
University grants. Ten per cent of Libyan students studied abroad, in
Europe and the USA, paid by the state and with board and lodging also
paid. What dictator gives power to his people and encourages them to be educated free of charge, at any cost?
The Jamahiriya gave each married couple $50,000 USD to settle down. Half the price of each first car was subsidized, and the Jamahiriya provided interest-free bank loans. Free medical care was provided, again at any cost: if an operation or treatment could not be found within Libya's numerous hospitals, thanks to the Al-Fateh Revolution led by Muammar Gaddafi, then they would be treated abroad: no matter the cost. All this came out of the national budget, since Libyans owned their oil.
Thanks to Muammar Gaddafi, the world's most advanced irrigation
system was built, bringing water to most of Libya across the desert, known as the 8th World Wonder, the Great Man-Made River is the
world’s largest irrigation project with the largest underground network
of pipes and aqueducts, supplying 6,500,000 cubic metres of fresh mineral water
daily. From being one of the driest countries on earth, the Libyan
desert was made to bloom. The Jamahiriya provided those who wish to be farmers with
land, seeds, tools and instruction. All this inspired by Muammar Qaddafi who constantly led the people to ever greater achievements.
From the poorest country in the world during the pre-revolutionary era, Libya went on to enjoy the highest
Human Development Index in all of Africa, also beating Russia, Brazil and Saudi Arabia. Muammar Gaddafi worked hard to free Africans from the
yoke of imperialism and colonialism. He provided Africans with
satellites to free them from crippling payments to western corporations.
Muammar Qaddafi called on the Libyan Jamahiriya to set up loans so that Africans would be freed from paying usury for
the rest of eternity to foreign banks, setting Africa free from the IMF and World Bank in a project due to launch in September 2011, which was to have a starting capital of $42 billion, $32 billion paid for by Libya. He called for the revenues from Libyan oil
to be paid directly into the bank accounts of the Libyan people. All shared in the
profits of Libyan oil, no longer going into the pockets of multinationals.
Muammar Qaddafi also called for the setting up a banking system that would eventually have freed all of
Africa, brought about a Gold Dinar and an Afro as currency, and he protected Libya from having any private central banks, nor did Gaddafi recognize the Zionist Entity. The entire western charade has been about removing Colonel
Gaddafi from Libya because of his humanitarian and developmental
projects in Africa and his plan to launch a gold-based currency, the
Gold Dinar, which would have been too costly for selfish western
financial interests whose only thought is to keep Africans poor,
starving and robbed of their own natural resources.
Muammar Gaddafi reached out a hand of friendship and cooperation to
the west and received a knife in the back in return, lethal bombs on his
country and swarms of murderous terrorists running rampant, destroying,
burning, raping, robbing, slicing off hands, heads and various other
body parts. An estimated 100,000 Libyans massacred by NATO and their rats on the ground, and over a million displaced. Libyans are set to become among the poorest in Africa thanks to brutal destruction of the Jamahiriya.
All those good people, such as the People's Secretary*, Dr Baghdadi, Secretary of the Libyan National General People's Congress, have been silenced after fleeing to neighboring countries after terrorists supported by NATO seized power by brute force, killing anyone who so much as displayed any support for Muammar Gaddafi. He is now imprisoned in Tunisia instead of being cared for, because the dictatorship imposed by NATO on Libya wants him to have the same fate as countless others: torture, fake trial, murder.
But no matter what his enemies have done to Muammar Gaddafi, he remains a
peaceful soul, ready to again extend a hand and forgiveness, from a position of strength, uniting all good people. Muammar
Gaddafi, a man who is what greatness is all about, someone who cannot
tolerate his fellow man having to do without the basic necessities of
life and has always done all in his power to raise his fellow man from
the depths of despair and deprivation.
The good deeds of this man can never be taken from him. They are a
part of the historical memory within his own countrymen and honest,
freedom loving men and women of goodwill worldwide, our village of
brothers and sisters who choose to love and support each other rather
than to wage war and see others suffer.
Muammar Gaddafi is now looked upon worldwide as the leader of the
struggle against colonialism and capitalist oppression. The Jamahiriya
is eternal and without borders! The Resistance continues!

*Note: On June 12 a world wide action is to be launched by supporters
of the Jamahiriya and all freedom and justice loving people, to
publicize the plight of the People's Secretary, the lawful head of the
Jamahiriya, who is imprisoned in Tunisia. Please stay tuned for further details, or sign up for the free Mathaba Daily Briefing where the public statement will also appear on June 12, for widespread distribution.
Muammar Gaddafi was of the most humble beginnings, born in
a Bedouin tent. He became a military man and managed, in 1969, to
orchestrate a bloodless coup against King Idris, a western laopdog who
had kept the country the absolute poorest in the world.
