Iranian first vice-president, Parviz Davoudi is scheduled to pay a visit to Syria on Wednesday afternoon at the head of a high-ranking eco-political delegation.
In Damascus, Iran-Syria Economic Commission will be co-chaired by Iranian first vice-president and Syrian prime minister, Muhammad Naji al-Utri.
He is expected to sign agreements with Syrian officials which will boost investment of Iranian companies in Syria to dlrs 3,500 million in future, Iran's Minister of Housing and Urban Development said.
Trade between the two countries stood at dlrs 200 million in 2007.
Iranian exports to Syria made up for dlrs 180 million.
During his visit to Syria, Davoudi is scheduled to sign seven agreements with Syrian officials in different fields. --IRNA
